My daughter and her roomates have been living here since August and have not had a working Washing machine or Dryer since they moved in. I have contacted the manager (Sept. 3rd) and was assured it would be taken care of. Several visits by maintainence workers did nothing to address the problem and the student manager who came and actually washed a dirty towel (becuase they did not believe the girls) confirmed the washer was not working and told the girls that they would be getting a new washing machine. Weeks later nothing has been done and maintainence claims they knew nothing of that. I call again to talk to maintainence and the head of maintainence tells me he never even heard of the issue and that the Lark manager would need to adress. The same manager I spoke to in September. I have been waiting for a call back for 4 days since that discussion and today the student that answered the phone at the Lark told us that the manager would call us back in the next couple days and had no idea of the issue. This is insanity. In the meantime my daughter has been traveling back and forth to home (2 hour drive) to do wash. The suggestion from the manager in Sept. was to go to a laundry mat to do wash and come in and get reimbursed. The girls (my daughter and her roomates) finally went to the laundry mat this week and an older man took his clothes off in front of them. They are very upset. The washer has also ruined several of the girls clothing items and the dryer does not dry the wash.
The response from mainainence this week was that the machines were only a year old and they were at the mercy of the warranty company. They are jerking the young girls around and now me. I hope that everyone gets this message and beware.

AMAZING place to live!!!
Personally, I love it here. There were a few minor apartment issues but nothing major. So far this is the best place around, I don't know anywhere else that I would want to live.

COVID, family death, financial hardship, academic changes) You will be stuck paying for the entire year unless you find someone to take over. No respect or remorse for students during these times.

Excellent Staff
